kids these days

If you believe what the media has to say, you’d think that kids these days were a bunch of tech-savvy slackers. However, I don’t really think that this is the case. If you care to pay attention you may realise that there are some ambitious young individuals out there. One case in point: Sarah Silverman (not the comedian). This bright young thing has recently established her clothing line, Sarah Leora, with designs ranging from cute rompers to disco-ready dresses (see: Princess Shine dress). Did I mention that she’s only seventeen? SEVENTEEN. When I was seventeen* I was too busy freaking out over my final year of high school and playing way too much sport to even think about pursuing any artistic endeavours (although I wish I had). Anyway, if you have a spare minute or seventeen, be sure to show your support and check out her website and facebook page.

*It took me nearly every fibre in my body to refrain from finishing this sentence with “… I had some very good beer. Some very good beer I purchased with a fake ID. My name was Brian McGee. I stayed up listening to Queen.” (I hope you all get the Simpsons’ reference).

  4. I completely agree, our generation has such a sense of entrepreneurship and "I will do what I want and make it work." Its more important for us to be happy than rich, which I think is an excellent thing. How gorgeous are those rompers? I'm loving her green wall background too.

That's inspiring! It seems like today's kids are more artistic and creative. If you can compare creativeness.
