ciao, vogue italia

I received a lovely little package in the mail today. My best friend Bron, who is currently traipsing around Europe, sent me a (fashionably) early birthday present in the form of the May issue of Vogue Italia. I can’t read Italian (bar a few messy translations), but the pictures more than make up for it. This package came at the perfect time because it means I’ll have something to pore over this weekend while I’m housebound with a cold. I know right, trust me to come down with a cold just in time for the long weekend. Boo. Despite being mildly ill, I’ll still be braving it out tonight to see Sex and The City 2 with the girls. There’s nothing that a bit of silliness with the girls can’t fix!

Also, just a bit of housekeeping, but if you check the sidebar you’ll notice that I’ve changed my email address. I’m just in the process of streamlining my accounts, so it would be lovely if you could update your address books and send any mail this new account. Thanks!

  5. The Bambina June 11, 2010

I love the pastel colors! It's so refreshing to see things shot in different ways, like that Proenza Schouler look.

Lovely! I'm sure the fabulous editorials make up for your insufficient knowledge of Italian! I think I might purchase some Japanese magazines this week, even though I won't be able to understand a single word, the colourful pages should be enjoyable nonetheless. Have fun at the movies!

  7. Vogue Italia's are the best of the best. I can find them at the local bookstore, but they're pricey because of the import – I treat myself a couple times a year to one…

Italian Vogue is always the best! My boyfriend bought me this issue back from Italy last month.
How was sex & the city 2? I still can't believe they made part 2. They should have made a new season instead.
