Around Christmas time I received a tray of Ferrero Rocher chocolates (the ones with dark chocolate and white chocolate coconut, YUM). Once they were all gone I decided that the tray would make a handy place to store an assortment of jewellery.

I really like this brooch. I should make a note of wearing it more often. See the bronze -y earrings in the left hand corner of this photo? And the fact that there are three of them? Don’t worry, I don’t have three earlobes. One of my friends gave me pair for my birthday a while back, but the first time I wore them I lost one. I was so sad. But then mum found another pair and bought them for me. Mums always save the day. So now I have back up in case I lose one again.

    @DeathWearsDiamondJewellery: The wing ring was a Diva score I think. Unfortunately it's gone all coppery and has started to make my fingers go green haha.

    @Sissy: Grandma's have the handiest tricks sometimes πŸ™‚

    @Highdee: You're welcome. And definitely no guilt… maybe share with friends just to be on the safe side haha

    @muchlove: Chocolates are always best shared with friends. And they'll finish quicker that way, meaning you'll get your storage space quicker πŸ™‚

    @Pia&Lianne: Yes, definitely the best excuse!

    @JoannaM: Yep, the brooch is vintage.

  27. Jana and Vanessa March 20, 2010

    @Jana&Vanessa @jess & @lesdeux: Thanks!

    @wideawakethoughts: Hi Jessy! They're mostly a mix of chain store and market finds. This is mainly my junk/play jewellery. The "nicest" piece is probably that brooch which is vintage.

  33. Mary March 30, 2010

    Genius! That is an excellent way to organise jewellery. You have a beautiful collection of rings. πŸ™‚
