So what do I do when I have another assignment due soon? Look at the collections showing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, of course. The girly-girl in me is quite enamoured with Erin Fetherston’s Spring 2009 collection entitled East of the Sun and West of the Moon. I think it must be the pastels (I’m almost certain that my recent fascination with pastels is a response to wearing too much black and grey this winter). And also maybe due to the fact that the collection reminds me of fairy-floss, rainbow ice-cream, marshmallows, and sugar-and-spice-and-all-things-nice.
