Stuff that’s been happening the past couple of weeks, as told via my phone. 
1 & 2 – My Australia Day fruit platter + the aftermath
3 & 4 – Seeing Matisse ‘Up Late’ at GoMA + pretty lanterns above the bar
5 & 6 – Making things

I feel like all the photos I end up ‘liking’ on Instagram are of food and cats. Is anyone else the same? I wish I could give back the love but a) I’m not used to taking photos of my meals when I’m out and b) I don’t own a cat. But I do own a cat phone case now! As evidenced by the shadow in photo 3. Baby steps…

      It's super addictive. Sometimes I go on and resurface an hour later. It's like a wormhole haha.

    Your instagrams are still great even if they don't feature cats and your meals. I like the last one of one of the things you made. REally shows some artistic and creative skills there. 🙂

    Cute Penguin drawings. I don't have an iphone, but am always using my boyfriend's phone to upload pictures of our cat using his instagram account. Obviously he is not so pleased.

    The Up Late idea seems really cool, I've seen the Matisse exhibition in Dublin and Liverpool, it's doing the rounds! Hope the cat lady dreams come to fruition soon 😉 xxx

      It's really neat, such a good idea for a night out. Plus they have live music! It's like all of my favourite things in one place haha.

    It's funny what you end up liking on instagram.
    Maybe when eating out, pretend you aren't taking a photo, you're checking emails or something, and put it on silent, sneaky photo taking!

      Good thinking! I think my problem is I concentrate really hard when taking photos haha. Must practice being stealth.

      Yes! There were SO MANY sketches. It was insane. You should definitely get in there.

    Ohh, an exhibition of Matisse! I'm jealous, I would love to see his work up close someday. All of these pictures are so nice. I love the shadow of your phonecase too, a cat phone case would be the first thing to buy after I've gotten myself an iphone.. oh one day…!

      The case was less than $3 on ebay! So good! The Matisse exhibit was huuuuge. It was mostly his sketches though, rather than his paintings. Would love to see all of his paintings.

    MATISSE….whateverrrr lady! Loving your life under the lanterns lady..oh and your little red loafers!NOW, must tell me about YOUR trip to Paris…seriously how difficult is it NOT to snap photos like a crazy lady at the Eiffel Tower???? 😉 Xx

    As the photos were loading. I may or may not have read that as Australia day fruit planner, & wondered what a fruit planner is & why it's based on a specific day. I also ordered the same case & it never came. 🙁
    Especially love photos #1 & #4.
    And regarding putting instagrams together as a blog post, I do it all the time! 😉
