I picked this up on the weekend on a post-brunch shopping trip. Brunch + shopping with the girls. That’s a winning combination if I ever saw one. I don’t really know how to categorise this shirt though. It’s not really thrifted because it cost me $25 from one of those edited stores (Ra Ra Superstar to be exact – all Brisbane girls check out this store immediately!) It’s not vintage because the tag is Sportsgirl (even though it must be really, really old Sportsgirl). And it’s definitely not new (well, it is new to me but that’s different). What I do know, however, is that it’s oh so pretty. I’ve been on the hunt for something like this for a while now, so when I saw it hanging up I knew it had to be mine. I’m pretty sure it’s silk (and if it’s not it’s a pretty good imitation), and the peter pan collar and tie ribbon make for the sweetest details. It also reminds me of something from the Chloe Fall 2011 campaign. Win!

    So lovely what a great find. I find it funny that some people call anything not produced in the last 18 months vintage.

    Wow, I would have never guessed it was from sportsgirl. Besides from having the current oldies/vintage range they have now, I don't recall when they had a similiar range before. Great find!

    Lovely colour and gorgeous find, regardless of the price and it's origin. You will get tonnes of wear out if it, and it's certainly a 'wardrobe staple' thus will last for seasons to come. Definitely worth the investment xo PS I got your email, have been so so so busy. Ill get back to you tonight xo

    @Hannah & @Mat: Preloved and secondhand it is!

    @wikigirl: it's on Given Terrace. Tucked in behind the Turkish (?) restaurant with the big LCD sign thing (lol). It has a hot pink lane way so you can't really miss it!

    @Abby: I'll try! It's been too gross and hot to wear anything other than singlet tops though. Not good on the outfit photo front.

    @liza: thanks for following!

    @rosanguyen: yep, it has to be old because the tag is black on white, not the skinny white on black tags they've had for years and years now. Craazy
