This skirt is my newest pride and joy. I picked it up at an op-shop for $7. I swear it’s made up of at least five metres of fabric. Insane. It reminded me of the full skirt from Alexa Chung’s Madewell collection. Only better (if I do say so myself). I also wore this skirt on Christmas day. It was a pretty bad idea considering I kept spilling food on it. Quite hazardous, really. It’s going to be a tough job keeping this skirt in pristine condition. Anyway, this is my last post for the year but I’ll be back next year with all guns blazing (i.e. tomorrow, but “next year” sounds so much more significant). I had grand plans of making a retrospective post of some kind (top trends/fashion moments of the noughties, looking back on the year that was etc.) but then realised someone, somewhere would have already compiled something similar. And done a much better job of it at that. So here’s to the end of 2010 and the 00s, and to a bigger and brighter 2011. If it wasnt’ 10 o’clock in the morning and if I actually had some handy, I’d raise a glass of champagne right now. Wishing you all a very happy new year!
