Spring is nearly upon us (for southern hemisphere dwellers, anyway) so I thought I might get into the swing of things by posting the latest Spring/Summer collection from Karla Spetic. The collection debuted at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week, and here it is in lookbook form (I almost always prefer lookbooks to runway shots). The pastel colour palette is perfect for Spring, and the various cut-out details, twisting, and digital prints give the collection that extra edge. The “Road Memory” skirt paired with the watermelon shirt is possibly the best thing I have seen lately.
As part of the collection, Spetic developed an accompanying shoe line consisting of desert boots and platform clogs. The clogs are particularly on trend and, in my opinion, some of the nicest I’ve seen. If you’ve got a spare $500, you can pre-order them over at Maximillia.com, along with the rest of the collection.
