@Jazzabelle: That bath robe is quite divine. I'd love to see it in person!

@Christina: The entire time I was watching this movie I was just wishing I had half of her elegance and poise. Sigggh.

I watched this about an hour ago, oh my God!
She's one of my absolute idols…She's so graceful and elegant…she's perfection!
I'm so glad she married Bing Crosby in the end, because I am just so in love with him. I've seen nearly all of his films πŸ™‚

I just wanted to tell you, too, how much I adore your blog! It consistently makes me happy, and not only do you have great style and taste, you like a lot of things I do. I'm so addicted to Angus and Julia Stone and frankie!

I've really been loving old school looks and vintage proportions & cuts with a modern twist. High five!

I was stopping by cause I noticed you commented on Nicole of Gary Pepper Vintage's post "Bohemian Child" and just thought I'd mention I made a DIY rose garland inspired by her.

I am probably going to get skewered on a stake for this…but I can't help feeling that Grace Kelly is a little bit overrated. She really wasn't a very good actress, and some of her contemporaries were just as beautiful + classy, although she certainly was those things.

    She was very, very stylish.

She looks a lot like Nicole Kidman in the second picture.

@eva: Don't feel that way, this blog is a safe space πŸ™‚ haha. I agree with you on her acting skills – she definitely wasn't up to scratch with some of her contemporaries. And like, Her Name Was Lola pointed out, many critics prefer The Philadelphia Story to High Society. However Grace Kelly was undeniably stylish, and I think half of her appeal is her charmed/fairytale life (apart from her death, of course). And she does look a bit Nicole-ish in the 2nd picture doesnt she?

Grace is so graceful! I like her too. My favourite actress and muse is Audrey Hepburn πŸ™‚
