Hat – Helene Berman | Shirt – vintage (via mum) | Jeans – Just Jeans | Rings – markets
I’ve been waxing lyrical about embracing Autumn dressing recently, so I thought that today I should walk the talk. It’s still quite hot in the day time, so layering isn’t really an option (unless you’re in air conditioning all day). This shirt is quite loose and airy, which makes it perfect for that in-between kind of weather. Plus the fact that it was brown made it instant Autumn-dressing fodder. I wanted to try the combination of grey and brown (like in the Amy Kaehne lookbook below) but alas, I don’t own any grey jeans or pants. As for the hat, it’s actually a bowler hat but I turned out the brim to make it non-bowlerish. I hope that doesn’t ruin it. Anyway, I’m off for a spot of late night shopping, and forgoing my usual Thursday night yoga class to do so. Whoops.
P.S. How good is the Splendour in the Grass line up? I’m SO excited. The Strokes! Pixieeeeeeessss! I’ve seen a fair few of the acts already (not bragging, promise) but they’re all ones that I would see again and again. And then there are the ones I haven’t yet seen but CANNOT wait for i.e. Yeasayer, Two Door Cinema Club, Delphic, Foals… Who else plans on going to Splendour this year?
